Being able to forecast product cost before production is one of the biggest drivers of profit, and make-to-order companies have to quote before they produce. The ParsysERP cost-forecast module uses the formula engine and the system’s parameters to calculate product cost before production.
Formulas are written in an editor that behaves like a spreadsheet formula bar: parameter and function suggestions as you type, argument hints for all 48 functions, and a live “test formula” strip that evaluates the formula with test values while you write it, without saving anything.
Pricing uses cost-plus or tariff methods, and the system price, operator price and manager-approved price are recorded separately with the differences logged automatically.
